voice and microcopy
Same voice as alxnko.dev: a terminal's calm, an app's clarity.
rules
- Lowercase, calm and short. Interface copy (labels, buttons, headings, status lines) is written in lowercase in the source, never with text-transform.
- What people type is shown exactly as typed: names, messages, codes, email addresses.
- Long-form prose, like these rules, keeps normal sentence case.
- Errors say what happened and what to do next, in plain words; never a code alone.
- A control that waits for something says why it waits, and is never enabled only to refuse.
- The terminal flavour lives in small details: the › prompt, the block cursor on the wordmark, [ ok ] and [fail] status lines. At most one per region of a view.
- Status always has a glyph and a word; colour alone never carries meaning.
