moonmeow
An Android app for using your computer's desktop from your phone.
info: moonmeow — runs on your own devices: there's no public service to check
what it is
- Moonmeow shows your computer's screen on your phone and sends your touches, typing and mouse back, so you can write code, read logs or drive a terminal away from your desk.
- It is tuned for desktop and office work rather than games: text input, pointer precision, keyboard shortcuts that get past Android, and resolutions that match a phone screen.
- It works with sunmeow, and also with Sunshine and Apollo hosts.
- There are no prebuilt releases yet: it is built from source.
how it works
- It is a fork of Artemis, which is itself a fork of Moonlight, so it speaks the Moonlight streaming protocol.
- The host encodes the desktop as video; moonmeow decodes it on the phone and sends input events back.
- It runs on Android 8.0 or newer and is licensed under the GPL-3.0.
